BYD, the global leader in new energy vehicles, has launched the upgraded 2026 Atto 3 electric SUV at its flagship Tejgaon showroom. This enhanced edition delivers aesthetic and functional upgrades tailored to Bangladesh's rising demand for sustainable luxury.
The upgraded Atto 3 stands out from its predecessor with striking design enhancements. Its exterior now sports sleek black-housed LED headlights and bold 18-inch alloy wheels, while the interior introduces a refined "Thaumas Black" scheme for a seamless, premium feel.
The infotainment system upgrades to a larger 15.6-inch self-rotating touchscreen, delivering an immersive experience for navigation and media
The upgraded Atto 3 retains BYD's renowned Blade Battery—one of the industry's safest—paired with the e-Platform 3.0 for rapid DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in about 45 minutes. It delivers strong performance with 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 7.3 seconds.
BYD Bangladesh offers the upgraded Atto 3 in two variants for local needs: the Standard Range (345 km per charge) at Tk49.90 lakh, and the Extended Range (up to 420 km WLTP) at Tk55.90 lakh.
At the launch, CG Runner BD Ltd—BYD's Bangladesh distributor—highlighted the upgrade as central to their "Electric-Ready Nation" vision. To support growing EV adoption, they're rapidly expanding charging infrastructure, with fast-charging stations already operational in key spots like Cumilla, Chattogram, and Cox’s Bazar.
The upgraded Atto 3 builds buyer trust with an 8-year/160,000 km traction battery warranty and a 6-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty. With competitive pricing and refined features, the 2026 model is set to anchor Bangladesh's expanding EV market.
