Asian Motorspex Ltd has officially introduced the all-new Chery Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV. The Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV, Chery's flagship plug-in hybrid SUV, blends premium styling, robust performance, and advanced eco-friendly technology. The model was unveiled at Chery Bangladesh's official showroom in the Tejgaon Industrial Area of Dhaka.
The launch ceremony was attended by Dewan Shajedur Rahman, Managing Director of Asian Motorspex Ltd; Dewan Saidur Rahman, Director; Abu Mahmud Naser, Head of Sales at Chery Bangladesh; along with other senior company officials.
In his keynote speech, Dewan Shajedur Rahman emphasized the flagship SUV's role in sustainable automotive technology:The Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV offers an innovative solution for eco-conscious customers by combining luxury, performance, and reduced emissions. With this launch, we aim to set a new benchmark in Bangladesh’s premium SUV market.
The Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine mated to an AWD plug-in hybrid system and an eight-speed Aisin Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (3DHT). Together, the powertrain generates 375kW (502bhp) and 750Nm of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds while offering a combined driving range of up to 1,380 kilometres.
Inside, the Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV offers a premium cabin with a 15.6-inch 2.5K HD touchscreen, a 14-speaker Sony surround sound system, and seven Nappa leather seats. It also comes equipped with heated, ventilated, and massage seats, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sliding sunroof, and a heated steering wheel.
Safety features include an ANCAP-approved body structure made with 85% high-strength steel, multiple airbags, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind-spot detection, a 540-degree panoramic camera system, and transparent off-road view technology for improved visibility on challenging terrain.
The exterior adopts Chery's signature "golden ratio" design language, featuring a 4,810mm-long body, 20-inch polished alloy wheels, and a distinctive diamond-pattern tiger-eye grille.
Each Tiggo 9 Pro PHEV comes with a complimentary 22kW home fast charger for convenient residential charging, an eight-year or 160,000km warranty (subject to terms and conditions), and a buy-back programme.
