Uttara Motors Limited, Suzuki’s exclusive passenger vehicle distributor in Bangladesh, has expanded its lineup with the launch of the Suzuki Fronx compact SUV and Suzuki Celerio, both available at special introductory prices. The new models were unveiled at Suzuki’s newly inaugurated Experience Center on Tejgaon–Gulshan Link Road in Dhaka.

The event was attended by Mujibur Rahman, deputy managing director, and ABM Humayun Kabir, director of finance and administration at Uttara Group of Companies, along with corporate leaders, Suzuki customers and business partners.

Mujibur Rahman said the launch of the Suzuki Fronx and Celerio demonstrates the company’s commitment to offering world-class vehicles in Bangladesh. He said the two models combine modern design, advanced technology, enhanced safety and fuel efficiency to meet the changing needs and lifestyles of customers.

The Suzuki Fronx is powered by a 1.2-litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT petrol engine that produces 66 kW of power at 6,000 rpm and 133 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed AMT transmission. This comes with a 37-litre fuel tank, ESP with Hill Hold Assist and an anti-theft security system, along with a range of safety and technology features designed to meet the needs of modern SUV buyers.

The Suzuki Celerio is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.0-litre K10 petrol engine paired with an Auto Gear Shift (AGS) transmission. The engine produces 50.4 kW of power at 5,600 rpm and 91.1 Nm of torque at 3,400 rpm.The hatchback comes with six airbags, a push-button engine start/stop system with a smart key, SmartPlay Remote connectivity and Hill Hold Assist. With a kerb weight of 835 kg, a 32-litre fuel tank and seating for five, the Celerio combines fuel efficiency, convenience and safety for urban driving.
